Stone Set Ring

27th April 2019

10am- 4pm

With Angela Evans.

Bring along a silver ring you’ve made in one of Angela Evans' previous workshops (or other workshop) and spend the day learning how to make a bezel setting to house a round or oval cabochon stone. Bring your own stone or choose from a selection.

Skills will include how to select the correct stone for this type of setting, measuring, creating a straight sided bezel mount for a stone, soldering a bezel onto a ring and finally setting the stone into the bezel.

As this is an intermediate level workshop participants are required to have knowledge of piercing sawing, silver soldering and basic jewellery making. Please get in contact if you are unsure and we will be happy to advise you on this aspect.

Places on this workshop are limited to 6 to provide maximum attention.

Available: 4
